Jason + Jen | an anniversary celebration shoot with an edge.
I live in a city rich in history and creative inspiration, and I am grateful that the Lord has surrounded e with a community of people with all sorts of skillsets! When I saw the finished work done by my friend, Promise, on her El Camino, I knew I had to incorporate it into a photoshoot. She graciously agreed to let me use her vehicle and the creative ideas began to flow. I wanted to put together a sort of vow renewal/ anniversary celebration for a couple that I knew would love and appreciate the vision. But I wanted it to be more than a photoshoot, I wanted it to be an experience. I spent some time praying about it and felt like the Lord brought Jason and Jen to my mind!
I have know Jason and Jen for over 7 years at this point. Our paths have crossed over time via church as well as our respective creative outlets. Every chance we’ve had to interct has been delightful, and both of them are such incredibly sweet and caring people. We did this photoshoot just before their six year wedding anniversary, and what a jy it was to see these two share some beautifully sentimental moments reflecting on their marriage thus far. We started our time at Fox and Finch Studio, setting up a Ceremony Site where Jason and Jen had the chance to reminisce over their love story, and thank God for what He has knit together between them. Laughs were shared, tears were shed, and new memories were made in the midst of this creative collaboration. I am honored every time I have the opportunity to pour into a marriage. Marriage is foundational and worth every ounce of investment. I have faith that the Lord will bless Jason and Jen’s marriage for many years to come.
